Early morning sno-cat rides. This was a typical method of transportation on our avalanche control mornings. The Ski Area only had 2 crew cats at the time. Supervisors and senior ski patrol members would ride in front with the driver. The rest of us, "piles," would pile on the open back and go for a ride. Hold on!
